My name is Enrique Rodel L. Arellano, but most people call me Richie. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and currently residing in Toronto, Canada. I’m the 4th out of 5 kids.
I graduated from De La Salle University-Manila with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts. I’ve been into photography for almost 4 years now.
Currently, I am freelance photographer, specializing in food photography but I am open to other kinds as well – sports, events, fashion, portrait, wedding, or even video.
I’m very passionate when it comes to photography. For me it’s like a game I play everyday. Whenever I go out, I always have my camera with me to take photos of anything and everything. I always challenge myself to learning new styles and techniques in photography.
Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of certain programs and events that helped me enhance my photography skills such as being part of batch 8 of The Remix Project and as a volunteer photographer for Give the Gift of Life Walk. I’ve had a lot of photography opportunities for restaurants around Toronto and schools for their sports events.
